Busiest weekend ever!

So this was the best weekend I have had in a very long time...but was crazy busy! I woke up at 7 Saturday (for those of you who know me well, know that is very hard!) to go see Bryce finish the 1/2 marathon. It took 45 minutes to even figure out how to get there because the route was ALL around my house! I was locked in! I finally made it down town and made it into Gateway and saw him a few yards after the finish line. I didn't get to see him run passed :( I stayed and watched our good friend finish the marathon and take a ton of pictures.
I had to rush home and had about 20 minutes to get ready for the Chi Omega Luncheon. This was the best time! It was so so great to see everyone! It was sort of a bitter sweet. It was lovely to see all of my friends and catch up on lives, but very sad to realize that Chi Omega is gone.
For those that were already gone. ...I fell down the stairs. I know...such a Bax thing to do. I almost had it saved (Bri did try to help) and tripped on my shoe...I totally fell down a few stars. I did a pretty good cut on my finger :) But I did keep my legs crossed and fell like a lady!
I left the lunch and ran to pick up vases, Costco, Smiths, the liquor store, and Bed Bath and Beyond. I came home and got everything ready for Sunday. I was so tired and in bed by 10 on a Saturday night! Man I'm getting old!
Sunday was another early morning! I got up and loaded my car up with all my goodies, picked up Suker and went to Brianna's. We set up for the shower. Everyone came over and spent time with Brianna and learning about Karl. I cleaned up (with the help of lovely Jenny Run) and loaded it back into the car to run to Bryce's. Bryce turned 30 on Sunday! Which is why he did the marathon which I think is pretty impressive.
I spent the afternoon celebrating my big brother. It was a perfect day! I spent the day with friends and family whom I love, beautiful weather, great food, tasty drinks...GREAT day!
I think that I am still trying to catch up on the busy weekend.
Thanks to all of my family and friends!
